EduJourney is a school-fee insurance product brokered by Spades Insurance Brokers Ltd in partnership with licensed insurance underwriters. This Privacy Policy describes how Spades Insurance Brokers collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you register and use the EduJourney customer portal.

Information we collect

• Account details — your name, mobile number, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash).
• Parent profile — identity documents (NIN), next-of-kin, occupation, address.
• Child policy data — name, date of birth, identity document type and number, school information, premium band selected.
• Payment records — premium amounts, payment dates, payment references.
• Verification logs — OTP delivery timestamps, login activity, and audit metadata used to keep your account secure.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to issue insurance policies, communicate with you about your policy, process premium payments, and meet our regulatory and anti-money-laundering obligations under the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda.

Who we share it with

We share what is necessary to issue and service your policy with our partner underwriters and with payment processors. Partner underwriters as of today:
